Rescuing Lord Inglewood by Sally Britton All he wants is someone he can trust. All she wants is to belong. But when compromising circumstances force them together, do they have a chance at finding love? This is the first of Sally Britton’s book I’ve read and I really enjoyed it! The premise is that after a few unplanned mishaps, the two main characters are forced into an engagement/marriage. I loved the idea of two lonely people coming together for support, and how Esther overcame her fear of not being wanted. I probably would’ve liked a little more romance, by the end I wasn’t sure and I really believed that they fell in love with each other. But other than that it was a fun read with a little bit of everything in it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Diamond in the Rough by Jen Turano To save her family from financial ruin, Miss Poppy Garrison accepts an unusual proposition to participate in the New York social season in exchange for her grandmother settling a family loan that has unexpectedly come due. This was such a fun, witty historical fiction! Poppy is klutzy and completely unpredictable as she makes her debut into New York society. I love the friendships formed as well as the transformation between her and her grandma. And of course, the unexpected love story between her and Reginald. Overall a hilarious, light romance book. I definitely recommend if you need a good laugh! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
